Flippen Park

Flippen Park is a favorite for it's romantic gazebo and fountain. The park is always colorful and well landscaped with mature trees. We also love that this park is relatively small yet has a wide variety of options including a field, benches, and small pathways.

SMU Nature Center

The George Bush Nature Center at SMU is a hidden gem in the heart of Park Cities! Here you'll find nature at it's best all year round. White Rock Lake offers numerous photo opportunities on both the east and west sides. Our favorite spots include The Filter Building & Pump House (historic red brick buildings, grassy fields, pier), Boomerang Boathouse (white building, big bridge), Pelican Point (cozy tree lined pier), and Big Thicket (dock & sail boats). Your photographer can help decide your specific location.
