Family is the most important thing in my life, so it’s no surprise that I bawled like a baby while photographing my brother, Andrew, and his beautiful bride, Michelle, tying the knot this summer. Somehow, I managed to continue shooting despite the waterfall running down my face!!

I’m beyond grateful for my “buh-buh”; since the day I was born, he always has my back and continues to be a rock in our lives. Six years ago, life finally brought him THAT person, HIS person. From the first day I met Michelle, I knew she was going to be my sister… I knew they had finally found each other. I know it’s cheesy, and I don’t care… you two are truly meant for one another.

West Maui is not only one of the most blissful places on earth, it’s precious to Michelle and her family who have decades of memories along this gorgeous coast. Her grandparents began the yearly tradition when she was a little girl that has continued to bring their family together. Although Michelle’s grandparents are no longer with us, I know they were celebrating with us on the beach that day.

No doubt, I will cherish the memories from this day for the rest of my life. I hope you all enjoy the journey these photos take you on!
